” I’m not going to lie. I was never particularly into facials. I mean, they were always a relaxing way to spend an hour but I never really saw any great benefit from them. Facials to me were just a therapist with perfect make up looking to promote the seventy three products they’d applied to your skin with an assortment of brushes while I talked about my plans for the weekend and possibly grabbed forty winks if I was lucky.
Until I met Tracy.
I was fortunate enough that two friends who know me inside out bought me a voucher for a treatment with Tracy. In their words, ‘this would be a little bit of me’. And so it was. Thanks to a thoughtful birthday gift, my affinity for facials began.
I warmed to Tracy immediately. She is the ultimate professional but I felt at ease in her company straight away and I liked her honest approach. I don’t really remember too much about my first treatment as within no time at all I had fallen into the most wonderful slumber whilst Tracy’s hands and her armoury of facial ‘tools’ worked their magic. I felt great afterwards and for the first time ever, my skin looked so much better for having a facial.
Thrilled to have found a therapist I had faith in, I rapidly booked myself another appointment. And another. And another. I’ve tried lots of different treatments with Tracy and I’ve loved them all, not least because I’ve had amazing results. Sounds like a well used cliché, but my skin has never looked so good. Perhaps the best results came after I had a weekly Zoneface Lift Facial over the course of 12 weeks, after which my skin was visibly rejuvenated, firmer and radiant. (A friend actually asked what I’d ‘had done’ as she said my skin looked five years younger).
As well as how much better my skin looks and feels, I look forward to my sessions with Tracy. Being in her company alone is a breath of fresh air and I’ve found all her treatments to be relaxing and restorative – even when I’ve had Dermarolling in the Ultimate Facial (If you’ve not tried it, ask Tracy about it, where she uses needles in the skin to create multiple superficial puncture wounds, to stimulate the creation of new collagen and elastin.
Whilst I’ve always looked after my skin in terms of my daily wash, tone, moisturise routine, I’m also guilty of having abused it in the past. Tracy has informally educated me on how best to look after my skin and her tips and suggestions on diet, supplementation and skincare mean that my skin is looking the best it’s done in years. We’ve even managed to reverse some of the damage that a lifetime of sunbathing has done.
The girl who had a facial if she really had to (think going to a spa with girlfriends and you can’t be seen not to have a treatment) now religiously books a facial at least once a month. Thank you Tracy Winterbourne Therapies. I can’t recommend your facials enough and if you haven’t yet had one, do!
Your face will be in good hands.”
